Marriage and Partnerships

Couples seeking therapy are usually looking to achieve an increase in closeness and overall happiness in their relationship. From communication and conflict resolution to intimacy and infidelity, couples, whether married or not, can face a wide range of issues that may lead them to seek therapy. It can be hard to navigate the feelings of growing apart from someone, and the challenges couples face can seem insurmountable. However, more often than not - there is a path forward.

No matter the challenge your relationship is facing, I'm committed to assisting you in navigating any obstacle and providing support and techniques to fit your relationship’s needs. If you’re ready to give your relationship another chance, I'm here to help you rediscover the friendship and closeness that you may have lost along the way.

The Approach

The couples therapy I provide is centered around the Gottman Method, an evidenced-based practice for couples therapy that emphasizes the necessary pillars needed to address any marital or relationship issue.

Gottman Method for Couples Therapy

I use the Gottman Method in order to focus on strengthening the bond of the couple and increasing trust in the relationship while emphasizing the importance of communication, trust, respect and understanding.

The skills and lessons you learn in-session will be applied throughout the week when you leave, giving you and us a chance to see how they work, discover the barriers preventing them from working, and more deeply discuss the root causes that are bringing you into therapy.
